Sometimes you just have to say, ‘What the F*#k.’ Tom Cruise in Risky Business
I spent a good chunk of today listening to uber marketer and sometime surfer…Frank Kern. Wikipedia noted that his latest Mass Control 2.0 Launch netted close to 50,000,000 dollars (yep, that’s a lot of Fricken Zeros…) making it the most successful information product launch since, well…EVER.
One most ask oneself…”Self, how in the name of GAWD does this dude pull this shit off!?”
I think I may have figured it out 
I was listening to an interview from the orginal Mass Control and Frank was asked how he overcame his ’sticking points’ and motivated himself to take action…
“I was just like you probably, not really doing anything and it sucked. When where I was sucked enough I started focusing on what I wanted and then it didn’t require motivation. I just did it.” Frank Kern
Hmmm…. know where you are, know where you’re going, sounds familiar doesn’t it. I remember Tony Robbins saying that you either need a big ‘toward’ or a big ‘away from’ to motivate you to take action. Gives good reason for taking an honest look at where you are in life, and then figuring out how to get to the place you’d rather be.
The ability to chase after your desire or simply say ‘What the F*#k’ is a powerful tool to keep handy when things seem a little trying. It beats the crap out of hiding under your bed and sucking your thumb. That’s one of the reasons I made The Complete Coach Program…Everybody needs a little boot in the ass now and again, God knows I do. Think of it as a little Tough Love…
The Bible says “As a man thinketh, so is he“, I’d like to amend that a bit to say “As a man belives, so shall he think.” And as Mike Dooley of Tut.com fame loves to remind us “Thoughts Become Things”
So if you feel the need for a little irreverant motivation or just a wake up kick to the ass be sure to take a nice clear look at the life you lead and see if there isn’t something or other that could use your undivided attention. We you’ve got that solved just point your mind in the other direction and get busy. (You DO remember the Secret to ‘The Secret’ right ) You might find that the future will catch up with you faster than you’d have believed and your tomorrows will quickly become your yesterdays.
Just remember this. It takes a whole lot of NOW’s to make a life.
